What do I actually own at the end?
Everything. The full website source code transfers to your own code repository. The live deployment transfers to your own hosting account. Your domain stays where you bought it and points at your site. Your Handoff Guide explains exactly what you received and where it lives. There are no ongoing fees to Freistyle AI — not for hosting, not for maintenance, not for updates.
Is this built with AI?
Yes. AI is part of the production stack, the same way modern cabinetmakers use power tools. What matters is the result: a bespoke site built to your brief and your brand, not a templated output. Every Atelier site is reviewed, refined, and signed off by a human — Dominic — before it ships. If the answer were simply "AI generated your site," you could get that from a fifty-dollar-a-month builder. You are not here for that.
How is this different from Wix AI, Framer AI, or Lovable?
Those tools generate a site from a prompt. They are excellent at that. What they do not do: research your competitors, write a design rationale tied to your specific business goal, build against a structured brief covering nine dimensions of your business, or hand you production source code you own outright. You are comparing a generator to a service. Different categories.
Will my site look like other Atelier sites?
No. Every project starts from your intake answers — industry, brand personality, audience, loved and hated references, color and typography preferences. The only visual thread between Atelier projects is the quality bar.
Who actually builds my site?
Dominic, personally, with a modern AI-assisted production stack. Not a subcontractor. Not an offshore team. Not a rotating account manager. One person, one signature on the work, every project.
Can I edit my site after launch without a developer?
Yes, for text content and image swaps. Your site is built with a simple content layer that lets you edit headlines, paragraphs, and replace images directly through your code repository's web interface — no terminal, no coding required. The Handoff Guide walks you through every common edit with screenshots. For structural changes (new pages, new features, design changes), you can hire any developer — your code is standard and portable.
How long does it actually take?
Tier 1 (Landing Launch): 5 to 7 calendar days. Tier 2 (Brand Site): 10 to 14 days. Tier 3 (Authority Site): 18 to 21 days. Tier 4 (Premium Custom): 25 to 30 days. These timelines assume you respond to design approval and review rounds within 48 hours each. If you delay, your launch date shifts accordingly.
What if I don't like the design?
Every tier includes revision rounds (2 for Tier 1, up to 5 for Tier 4). You review the design direction before build begins, and again at staging before launch. Revisions are executed in batched feedback rounds by email — no live calls required. If you need more revisions than your tier includes, additional rounds are $197 each.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
Every tier includes a bug-fix window: 14 days for Tier 1, 30 days for Tiers 2 and 3, 60 days for Tier 4. During this window we fix any functional bugs at no extra cost. This covers bugs only — not new features, not design changes, not content additions. After the window closes, the engagement is complete.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final once work has begun. For Tier 1, work begins within 24 hours of payment, so refunds are generally not available after checkout. For Tiers 2, 3, and 4, you pay in three milestones (50% kickoff, 25% design approval, 25% launch), and each milestone is non-refundable once its work is delivered. This is why the intake quiz is so detailed — to make sure we are the right fit before you pay anything.
